Hi, I'm Mike Sloat of Texas and Southwest Outdoor Photography.
 

I started in photography around 40 years ago.  I am a member of TPPA, NPCA and NANPA.  I've been a helicopter pilot for the Texas National Guard for 27 years, now retired, total military service 36 years.  I live in Texas, work as a Federal Aviation Administration Safety Specialist and ride a Harley Davidson for relaxation.
 

All of my pictures are of wildlife in their natural surroundings from Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas.
 

My equipment consists of a Nikon D2x and F100 camera with Nikon lens from 10mm to 600mm with Wimberley camera mounts and Bogen Tripods, as well as Vested Interest photo vests.
